- Port Tampa Bay and Ports America recently hosted the 31st annual Tampa Steel Conference. This year’s event saw more than 225 participants from all areas of the steel industry. In addition to golf and tennis tournaments, attendees enjoyed a tour of Port Tampa Bay before the conference got underway. This year’s speakers represented experts from the steel industry who provided updates on the steel market heading into 2020, how U.S. Trade Policy affects imports and exports, and an economic outlook Florida’s booming population and business growth. The keynote speaker was Thaddeus M. Bullard (also known as Titus O’Neil), a WWE Superstar and Founder of the Bullard Family Foundation.
“This was the best Tampa Steel Conference I have ever attended. The speakers and the agenda was as close to perfect as can be accomplished. The agenda was relevant. All of the comments I heard about the speakers and agenda were positive,” shared Michael Trull, steel industry consultant.
