In this newly created position, Fry will oversee the Port’s financial records and reporting requirements. He will also develop, monitor and manage the annual operating and capital budgets, the Port’s debt and investment portfolios, all project grant funds, and the Port’s risk management program.

Previously, Fry served as the Director of Finance for three private equity consumer companies, most recently working at Plano Synergy. Fry has more than 15 years of finance and accounting experience serving the auto, consumer, and engineering industries. He also has several years of experience as an operations and project manager and as a certified public accountant.

Fry holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Michigan-Dearborn and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Eastern Michigan University. He is a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
