Pan Am Dragon Boat Races

PTB Dragon Boat Champs

2017 Defending Champs! For the last 3 straight years, Port Tampa Bay has participated in the annual Pan Am Dragon Boat Races held in Garrison Channel in Downtown Tampa.  The last 2 of those years Port Tampa Bay has taken the title for Corporate teams.

Thanksgiving Food Drive

Each year, Port Tampa Bay staff participates in a Thanksgiving Day food drive, collecting food, canned goods and other items for distribution through Meteroplotitan Ministries.  Last year's "Hope is Here" campaign saw PTB's 3rd Floor oust 2-time defending champ - The PTB Facilities Dept - as the "most Giving" of the season.  The total contribution included 327 lbs. of food and $230.

LLS Light the Night Walk

Leukemia & Lymphoma Society - Each year, PTB hosts a unique walk along its wharf for the community to come together and gather in celebration, remembrance and solidarity for the cancer patients and their families that have endured treatments.

Gasparilla (Children's and Adult parades)

Port Tampa Bay actively participates in arguably the most iconic annual events of the year in Jan/Feb when the pirates invade our fair city during Gasparilla.  Our greatest joy is with our community kids during the Children's parade - and have in past years even brought our own children to walk or ride in the parade.  Each year, Ye Mystic Krewe holds the children's parade one week before the main parade.  Together with Sant'Yago Knight Parade - they comprise the primary parade events of Gasparilla and join the many galas and balls hosted by individual krewes and variety of other Gasparilla-related events from approximately January through March.
